At Franklin Regional Intermediate, the mission is clear: ignite students’ potential to “Make an Impact Through Sustainable Growth.” Through innovative approaches, every student is supported in achieving personal milestones, with each success celebrated to foster continuous academic, emotional, and social growth. The school firmly believes that competence breeds confidence, fostering a sense of belonging among students, faculty, staff, and administration, leading to collective success.

Franklin Regional’s Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) ensures teachers meet students at their individual academic levels. Weekly data analysis informs tailored interventions, supported by ongoing professional development, materials, and resources, ensuring consistency across all grades and support tiers. Notably, the school’s dedication has resulted in significant student growth, evidenced by all third graders progressing out of the most intensive reading support level.

Moreover, the school librarian provides comprehensive professional development for all staff, equipping them with media support, instructional strategies, and digital teaching tools. Recognizing the importance of digital resources, the school has appointed “Discovery Education Digital Ambassadors” to assist teachers in effectively utilizing Discovery Education and other digital tools to meet diverse student needs.
