Get to know Scott:
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy fixing and building things, visiting folks, going places and taking naps.
What are your most impactful projects at DRAW?:
Working with a close team on a complicated project at PennWest University – California on the New Science Building impacted me because of what it taught me about open sharing of ideas and observations and effective collaboration among disciplines. Being involved with K-12 projects, after a long absence from that arena, is astounding me with advances I’d missed in design for education. And the most impactful was the glee of the elementary students at a groundbreaking in the pouring rain!
What keeps you coming back to work everyday?
My wife keeps kicking me out of the house.
What is your favorite architectural building?
Mackintosh Glasgow School of Art.
What is your dream destination?
Oh, some place I’ve not been. Vancouver. Or Vienna. Coastal Belize. Tennessee-North Carolina border. County Mayo, Connacht.
What is your bucket list item?
Finish my bathroom renovation.
