Mark has over 25 years of experience, with expertise in PK-12, having managed numerous new construction and addition and renovation projects with construction values ranging from $14 to $40 million. Mark conducts multiple roles including both design and management functions and working with all project phases, from conducting needs analysis to coordination of both the architectural design and outside consulting teams. He strives to ensure there is consistent communication and collaboration with the client and all team members. His high level of participation is critical to successfully achieving both aesthetic and functional solutions that meet the project’s needs and budget.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Enjoying time with my family, off-roading with my Bronco, anything outdoors, biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking with my dog, and painting.

What are your most impactful projects at DRAW?

Steel Valley New Elementary School:  It is a great project that will make a significant impact on the community and the lives of the children in the area. The budget was a challenge that the entire team was committed to meeting with a quality project.

Grove City High School Renovations: This project was a long time coming and is the result of nearly two decades of my relationship with the Grove City Area School District.

Slippery Rock High School Alterations and Additions: This project is the third project we completed with Slippery Rock. This is a testament to our quality work and strong client relationships. I’m proud of the long-term trust that we have earned with the school district.

What keeps you coming back to work everyday?

The people at DRAW. The relationships I have made with my clients.

What is your favorite architectural building?

Sagrada Familia in Barcelona Spain.

What is your dream destination?

Anywhere in the woods with a lake and peace and quiet.

What is your bucket list item?

Visiting Dubai with my daughter, Taegan.
