Get to know John:

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I have so many hobbies, but two of my current favorites are LEGO and Hiking. I also have two German Shepherds that are my life!

What are your most impactful projects at DRAW?

The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County: A great project that added onto a formerly non-accessible Historic Library and complemented the original building, without copying it.

Independence Health System Clarion Health and Wellness Center: Remodel and addition for wellness services that are low cost and easy to access for a community needing those services.

The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh Renovations and Addition: Significant remodel and addition to a wing of an existing long-term care facility, adding beds that allow parents to stay with and learn to care for their medically fragile children while they are unable to return home or between procedures. The addition is almost seamless and looks like it was part of the original construction.

What keeps you coming back to work everyday?

Great people, great projects, and of course, a paycheck!
