What are your most impactful projects at DRAW?

  • PennWest University – California New Science Building. This was the first project I’ve worked on at DRAW that I was a part of from the very early stages through to submitting our final drawing documentation set. They should be starting construction soon and I can’t wait to see all our details come to life!
  • Center for Organ Recovery and Education (CORE): This was the first hospital that I’ve worked on, and I really enjoyed working on all of the intricate details and specifications that a hospital requires compared to other building types.
  • Duquesne University Vickroy Hall Renovations: It’s been challenging and rewarding to think of creative ways to refresh an existing building. A university project allows for more fun and vibrant color selections, which has been fun to be a part of. This project has also been a great learning experience to get to see all the different discipline groups that work together on projects: client team, contractors, product reps, etc.

What keeps you coming back to work everyday?

The desire to continue to learn and grow as a designer.
