Get to know Jacklyn:
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Spending time with my family and my little girl, Ruby.
What are your most impactful projects at DRAW?
The most impactful project was my first elementary school project. I was on site after the school opened and I watched students engage with the nature / vine floor pattern we created, following along the flowing vine and hoping from leaf to leaf, flower to flower. I realized how impactful design decisions can be even on the smallest of levels.
What keeps you coming back to work everyday?
I feel like I learn something new everyday. Each day and client is a new set of challenges and ideas to work with and through. I love it!
What is your favorite architectural building?
Pantheon; anything by Herzog and de Meuron
What is your dream destination?
Maldives…or anywhere with a hut over crystal clear water!
