New Turf Softball Field at George Washington Elementary

Sports are an integral component in K-12 schools as they keep them active, socialized, and teach them the importance of teamwork. DRAW Collective provided architectural services to the New Castle Area School District for a new softball field at George Washington Elementary. The softball field replaced their existing field and was artificial turf. The project also included a new Red Hurricanes-themed scoreboard, two dugouts with New Castle Red metal roofs, and new concrete to accommodate existing bleachers. To complete the softball field, DRAW Collective also designed a new building with concessions, restrooms, storage/maintenance, a team room, a press box area, and new site lighting to provide excellent visibility for the players and visitors.
