Hampton Township Track & Field Upgrades

DRAW Collective conducted a District-wide facility study for the Hampton Township School District that examined solutions for improvements to the High School’s aging athletic facilities.

As a result, DRAW Collective worked with the District to replace a number of features at Hampton High School’s Fridley Field. The rubber track was replaced and painted, and the entire asphalt base was removed. The scoreboard was relocated from the end zone closest to the locker room to the left of the flagpole and fieldhouse, increasing the visibility and vantage points. Field lighting was replaced with LED fixtures to improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, and enhance the viewing experience for evening events. DRAW Collective also redesigned the Fridley Field House, adding a second floor and locker room upgrades, making it more flexible for groups of different sizes and sports.

A second phase of alterations to the High School is planned to include the gymnasium, pool, and lobby.
