Forbes Hospital 2nd Floor Lobby

Allegheny Health Network engaged DRAW Collective to design a new 2nd floor lobby in the Forbes Hospital. This new design not only aligns with AHN’s new standards, but also helps reconfigure staff and visitor traffic flow and improves security and safety at the point of entry.

To further elevate the experience for patients, visitors, and staff, AHN sought to incorporate additional amenities. DRAW collaborated closely with user groups to transform the existing gift shop into a combined gift shop and café, a model successfully used in other AHN facilities. This reimagined space offers a convenient, one-stop destination while maximizing the footprint of a high-traffic, high-visibility area to improve efficiency and service.
