Due to an upcoming retirement in 2026, we’re proactively seeking a dedicated BIM Manager to join the team to promote and shape the future of architecture in the Pittsburgh region. The ideal candidate will possess 6-8 years of experience in BIM content and standards in a collaborative environment, plus experience in technical training and support to inspire our team to grow and develop.
Working with us in this role, you will be:
- Developing and maintaining BIM content and standards
- Creating and refining Revit templates
- Training staff on BIM best practices
- Collaborating with our IT service provider
- Researching and implementing technical solutions for software and technology we use including: Revit, Navisworks, Matterport, Twinmotion, Sketchup, Bluebeam.
- Setting up and managing the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), developing Revit AddIns, integrating with SharePoint, updating and maintaining the content Catalog.
- Providing tech support to staff in both our Cranberry and Mt. Lebanon offices
An ideal candidate has:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with typically 6-8+ years of relevant experience
Hands-on software experience to include: REVIT, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Matterport, Twinmotion, Sketchup and proficiency with MS Office, including Sharepoint.
Training & mentoring skills: being invested in the professional development of staff; coaching team members and demonstrating a growth mindset in a positive and supportive environment
Organizational skills: time management, follow-through.
Communication skills: well-developed communication skills to build relationships, influence, and serve as the subject matter expert to our staff in Mt. Lebanon and Cranberry.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Ability to travel between our 2 offices (valid driver’s license, reliable transportation)
Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds, ability to pack/unpack and set up materials and equipment
Ability to work in an office (Monday-Thursday) and an option for virtual work (Friday), sitting for long periods of time doing computer work
