It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of one of DRAW Collective’s defining leaders, Jim Howell. As the “H” in our former name, VEBH, Jim played an integral role in the firm’s success and leadership. He was a prolific architect who deeply cared about the clients he worked with. As a graduate of Kent State University, Jim contributed to so many buildings for a variety of users—from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and Waynesburg University to Keystone Oaks School District—and has positively impacted the lives of so many through his intentional and meaningful design approach. Jim dedicated much of his career to this firm, and he will always be remembered fondly. We are forever grateful for Jim’s hard work, leadership, and lasting impact on our firm. Our heartfelt condolences are with his family, friends, and all of those who knew and worked alongside him over the years.
