DRAW Collective and Allegheny Health Network (AHN) are working together to expand and improve the inpatient services at the Forbes Hospital. Construction on the second-floor lobby has begun. These renovations will not only align with AHN’s new brand standards, but will also improve the safety and organization flow for patients, caregivers, and visitors. To further elevate the experience for patients, visitors, and staff, AHN sought to incorporate additional amenities. While closely collaborating with user groups, DRAW transformed the existing gift shop into a combined gift shop and cafe, a model successfully used in other AHN facilities. This reimagined space offers a convenient, one-stop destination while maximizing the footprint of a high-traffic, high-visibility area to improve efficiency and service.
The renovations at the Forbes Hospital lobby are just one of the many investments AHN is making to provide a comfortable and welcoming space for all visitors, patients, and caregivers.
