Franklin Regional Primary Center
Expanding for Growth
A renovated and expanded Primary School serves kindergarten, first, and second grade students on the newly developed elementary level campus that also includes a new Intermediate Elementary building for students in grades three to five.
The project included the reconfiguration of the site to separate parent drop-off and bus traffic patterns where buses continue to the neighboring new Intermediate School.
Interior renovations re-organized the building and renewed the classrooms. New Innovation Centers classrooms support groups of classrooms for projects and art instruction. Additions to the building provide a new main entrance, an expanded cafeteria, and a new creative arts classroom with an integrated stage.
The elementary campus the defined in a year-long feasibility study that consolidated the District’s elementary instruction on the campus and closing two elementary buildings.
