Mon-Vale Resources, the parent company of Monongahela Valley Hospital, presented VEBH Architects with the 2014 Rose Award for Dimensions in Philanthropy. The award recognizes VEBH’s support of the organization and the Hospital over the length of its working relationship, now in its third decade.
The Rose Award for Dimensions in Philanthropy was created to honor the late Mrs. Rose Sweeney Melenyzer, a longtime friend and benefactor to Mon-Vale Health Resources, Inc. It recognizes members of the Monongahela Valley community for their benevolence and dedication to the enhancement of quality health care.
VEBH Architects has served Monongahela Valley Hospital for more than 20 years, providing architectural design services for significant improvements to its facilities. Most recently, VEBH designed the $25 million expansion of the Hospital’s surgery and cancer care facilities that was completed in 2011. Our recent work also includes the design for expansion of the Hospital’s Melenyzer Pavilion and Emergency Department.
