It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of one of DRAW Collective’s defining leaders, Bob Bodnar. As the “B” in our former name, Valentour English Bodnar & Howell (VEBH), Bob played an integral role in shaping our firm for more than five decades. A 1967 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, Bob spent his entire professional career with our firm, beginning in 1967 until his retirement in 2020. After 54 years of dedicated service, he leaves a legacy that continues to shape who we are today.
Bob was a thoughtful, talented architect and respected leader whose vision helped guide our firm through decades of growth. His contributions extended far beyond our organization through the spaces he designed and the partners he collaborated with, and his work will continue to positively influence countless people for years to come.
We are deeply grateful for Bob’s dedication, leadership, and lasting influence on our firm. Our heartfelt condolences are with his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him over the years.
