DRAW Collective served as the educational planner and architect for the expansion and renovation of South Fayette High School.
The centerpiece of the project was a comprehensive “Innovation Hub” that features an MIT-Certified Fab Lab, state-of-the-art science labs, a performance studio and digital media rooms.
Two small project planning and design ‘Kivas’ were included in the project. The Kivas feature circular walls with a write-able surface transforming the space into small group think tanks for small-group instruction and group problem solving.
The expansion project also included improvements to the cafeteria to create additional and casual seating areas, as well as additions to both of the building’s academic wings for new classrooms. DRAW leadership have had a significant role in shaping South Fayette’s very successful campus, including master planning and the design of a new Intermediate School and renovations to improve other District facilities.
