The Center for Organ Recovery & Education is partnering with DRAW Collective on the design and construction of the new Organ Procurement Building. The construction team at A. Martini is making great progress on the new building, with the structure of the building starting to take shape.
The building is an expansion of their current headquarters and clinical facilities in order to meet the needs and growth of the vital service they offer to the community. CORE’s long-term service outlook is leading the way in defining the facility’s vision. The new building includes three ORs, a donor ICU, and surgical support services, as well as lab services, donor family services, and meeting and community spaces.
CORE is a non-profit company that works to save and heal lives through organ donations. CORE works on coordinating the surgical recovery of organs, tissues, and corneas for transplantation. CORE also facilitates the computerized matching of donated organs, tissues, and corneas. Learn more about CORE by visiting their website.
